This Bible-centered, college-prep physics course offers a detailed introduction to the methods and concepts of general physics, heavily emphasizing vector analysis. This course will provide the student with a strong background in one-dimensional and two-dimensional motion, Newton’s laws and their application, gravity, work and energy, momentum, periodic motion, waves, optics, electrostatics, electrodynamics, electrical circuits, and magnetism. This course is designed for the student who has completed algebra and has had an introduction to the definitions of sine, cosine, and tangent.

Prerequisite(s): Algebra 1, Geometry

  • Exploring Creation with Physics, Second Edition; Apologia Ministries. The textbook and solutions/test manual.
    • Note: Limited number of textbooks may be borrowed from instructor on a first-come, first-served basis; contact instructor for availability.
