Full Year Course; 90 minutes
Spanish 1 is designed to develop a student’s ability to utilize basic Spanish in listening, speaking, reading and writing activities as well as to enhance his or her understanding of the Hispanic world and its culture and customs. Topics include greetings, personal description, weather and dates, number expressions, home life, school life, and leisure activities. Students in grades 8-12 may take the class for high school credit.
Note: Spanish 1 is offered every other year, alternating with Spanish 2
